Here is a listing of all dogs currently available for adoption at LCHS.
All dogs are spayed or neutered and micro-chipped before leaving our facility

Want a fun loving dog...BOJANGLES is full of fun. He loves to be with people, gets along with some other dogs and is housebroken. Come to the humane society and see his famous trick. He flies! UPDATE: Bo has been here quite awhile now, and we all love him. Most of our volunteers come in and the first stop is to say hi to Bojangles and take him for a walk. Does your home have room for one more? Wouldn't you love to give Bo a chance? I know we will miss him sooo much here, but he deserves to find his forever home. Won't you stop and see him today?
 

MOUSE is a 4 year old, female, Hound mix. She was scared to be in the shelter, but came around fast. She is bouncing around like the rest of them. She came to us as a stray from Animal Control, so we do not know much about her background. She loves other dogs, and kids. She also loves water, she cannot wait to jump into the pool in one of the cages we have here.

Gracie is a female, 6 year old, Shep mix. She is a very sweet and playful girl with a great personality. She was in a home with another dog, Charlie, for 3 years. They would love to go to the same home.

CHARLIE is a male, 5 year old, Shepard mix. He is a great dog with a sweet personality. He was in a home with another dog, Gracie, for 3 years. They would love to go to the same home.
 

DUDLEY is a Border Collie mix. He's a gentle guy. COME TO SEE HIM AND HE'LL BE PACKED AND READY TO GO HOME WITH YOU. We have a tug -of -war with his blanket every morning. He wants to take it everywhere he goes, even out to the potty. He's housebroken too. 

DOTTIE is a female, 1-2 year old, Australian/Lab mix. She is a very sweet girl with a big smile. She is a very good on a leash, loves other dogs, good with kids, and does okay with cats.

RACHEL is a Shepard mix. She is a very sweet girl. She needs a very good home with no other dogs! She will win you over with her huge kisses!

TWINKIE is a 1 year old, Boxer mix. He is a very sweet boy, but does not like his cage. He does good with other dogs, and kids.

CODY is a 2 year old, male, Beagle mix. He would prefer to be in a home with older children, little kids just move too fast for him. He is a sweet, sweet boy. Cody loves to play. He will come running to you if you show him a stuffed animal. He has a brother named Monroe, and he loves him. The first thing that he does when they are let out in the morning is grab Monroe by the collar to lead him outside.

COSBY is a 6 year old, male, Black Lab. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He loves to play with tennis balls. He tries to stuff every single one into his mouth at once. Does great with other dogs, would be better in a home without small children, and we are not sure how he does with cats. 
 

MONROE is a male, 2yr old, Beagle mix. He is a sweet little guy. He does okay with other dogs, but can be touchy, and likes kids. He loves to be cuddled by everyone; he just wants to be the center of attention. He also has a brother named Cody, and Cody just loves him.

MANDY is a female, 1-1/2 yr old, lab mix. She came to us as a stray along with her brother, Marco. She came to us very scared, but both she and her brother are coming out of it very fast. She also gets along great with other dogs.

MARCO is a male, 1-1/2 yr old, chocolate lab mix. He came to us as a stray along with his sister, Mandy. He came to us very scared, but both he and his sister are coming out of it very fast. He also gets along great with other dogs.

Harley is a male, 5 year old ,beagle. He is a cutie but could lose some weight. He needs a good home were he will be loved.  

Woody is a 4 year old Golden mix. He weighs about 30#. He loves kids and would need a fenced in yard.

Bella is a 4 year old, female, shitzu. Bella came from a breeder, but now she is spayed. She needs a home were she can just be a dog, and be able to enjoy life. She loves to play, does great with other dogs, cats, and kids.

Stormy is a 6 year old shitzu, that was previously a breeding dog. NO MORE PUPPIES for Stormy! YAY! She is spayed and enjoying being doted on by the staff and volunteers at LCHS. But unfortunately Stormy has Heartworm. She is undergoing treatment and has one more to go in a month. She is very loving, and loves to snuggle. She doesnt care for other dogs, cats or small children. Its all just too much for her. She does tolerate them when needed, but doesnt enjoy it. Come see Stormy and put an application in on her!
