LCHS RECEIVES GENEROUS DONATION FROM DOLLAR TREE!

On Saturday May 30^th, LCHS picked up a very generous donation from Pontiac’s Dollar Tree! Boxes and boxes of goodies for the animals were collected! For 4 weeks, Dollar Tree asked patrons if they would donate an item to the Livingston County Humane Society from their store. Many patrons did, and the outcome was overwhelming to the shelters staff, board of directors, and volunteers. Hundreds of dog bones, cat treats, and toys! Hundreds of collars and leashes as well, filled the many boxes.

LCHS would like to extend many thanks to Dollar Tree! Their generosity and love of the Humane Society animals is felt by all who work, play, and visit the Shelter….as well as the many animals who enjoy the tasty treats and squeaky toys!

OUTSIDE DOG RUNS BEING ENHANCED AT LCHS

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are concreting ALL of our outside dog runs. It is a very large area to cover! ANY AND ALL DONATIONS will be greatly appreciated, especially by the dogs!!! If you have time, materials or a monetary donation, stop out at the Humane Society (21179 N. 1358 East Rd, Pontiac, IL) ! You may even find that furry friend you've always dreamed of! We are extremely grateful for all donations however small or great! THANK YOU, BARK, and MEOW!
